        Stress Tests

        • Tray Cold test – Under controlled and monitored conditions, corn seed is planted to incur imbibitional chilling and evaluated for uniformity and vigor
        • Saturated cold test – Under saturated soil conditions and cold temperatures, corn seed is stressed both for respiration and imbibitional chilling and evaluated for uniformity
        • Accelerated aging – Seed is stressed with high humidity and warm temperatures prior to being planted in sand. Germination percentage and uniformity is evaluated

      • Herbicide bioassays can be conducted for Glyphosate, Glufosinate, ALS-inhibiting herbicides

      Research on seed amendments, such as active ingredients, colorants, biologicals, and synergy of products. Battery of physical and physiology tests used under optimum and suboptimum seed storage environments. Experimental design such as randomized complete block with analysis of variance including data presented in table formats.

    • Seed Conditioning

      Design, testing of raw, in-process and finished seed with randomized and replicated testing procedures. Results and / or analysis conducted for the study.

    • Test Development

      Customer needs and situation is discussed with Research Lead person to determine development need, strategy, and timeline.
