Methods
ISTA Rules are followed for testing. If the seed lot is officially sampled, an Orange Seed Lot Certificate is produced. If only a seed sample is tested, a Blue Seed Sample Certificate is produced.
What is Reported
An Orange or Blue original certificate is produced. Duplicate copies can be made. A pdf of the completed certificate can be viewed online.
Value of Results
Orange Certificates are recognized globally at ports by country Agricultural Departments. Blue Certificates are commonly used when exporting from USA into Canada.
